Making friends with Zagreb bite by bite

Food & Drinks Walks

Zagreb’s history was written on the crossroads of several great empires of the past: Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman and Venetian. Croatia’s hub is the place where Mediterranean slowness meets Slavic melancholy and Germanic sense of order. Such a unique mixture of influences is also reflected in Zagreb’s cuisine, and that’s why it’s so hard to define it. From basic street food to creative high cuisine, there’s plenty to choose from and entertain your palate. Food & drink walking tours take you deep into the belly of Zagreb’s gourmet history. No man or woman is left unsatisfied.

All our food & drink trails are guided walking tours that start not too early in the morning and last until late afternoon. You’ll be strolling through the centre of Zagreb, enjoying its sights and sounds, stopping here and there. Depending on your interests and wishes, we can make special, tailor-made arrangements and tastings, or add some extra stops. There are no silly questions, only silly answers, so feel free to express your preferences.

Zagreb Bites tours are not pre-scheduled, they are a private, bespoke experience always arranged by request and depending on our availability. Last-minute requests are risky and will not always have a positive outcome.
